Message From Iredell County Manager

Iredell County Emergency Communications Center has received notice that there are issues with 911 services both wireline and wireless across the entire southeast portion of the country- this includes Iredell County and surrounding areas. Carriers are addressing the issues and working toward a resolution. Notifications have been received by this agency from both AT&T and Verizon concerning network degradation that will impact the delivery of location information to the local Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP).

This issue may result in the Public Safety Answering Point being unable to know your location automatically. To resolve this issue please be prepared to provide your location for the Telecommunicator.
