Providence Day School's Cameron Alexander Nichols is off to the United States Naval Academy

CHARLOTTE, NC – Today, Providence Day School senior, Cameron Alexander Nichols, will sign with the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland on a football scholarship with his parents and grandparents by his side.

Nichols’ scholarship was no gift, it is a blessing following his years of commitment to his school, teammates, and dedication to higher education. He earned the respect of all by being voted on and winning the following awards: NCISAA 2021 All-State Offensive Lineman, Big South Conference Champions -1st Team All-Conference Foot Ball 2021, Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman 2021, Team Captain Football 2021, Providence Day School Charger Award 2021, Medallion- Champions Scholarship NCISAA, the Medallion Integrity Fair Play 2021-2022, Medallion Charlotte Independent School Athletic Association, and Medallion- All Conference Champions 2021-2022.

Quoting an old familiar hymn, Cameron could say, “May the Work I’ve Done Speak for Me,” but he is all too modest for that!
