Success Stories come out of sincere desire to assist children regardless of race, creed, or color.
One-by-one or, one-on-one, educators must first have the desire for more than a paycheck. It all starts from the top and should trickle down to students leaving class learning more than they knew when the entered.
Loretta Marshall
Ms. Loretta Marshall’s job and purpose at James Martin Middle is to implement small groups, restorative practices, mentoring and clubs. It is a brilliant pilot program, and it is working. When I heard each young male share what they have learned on how to treat adversity was impeccable.
It takes a village is just a saying, putting a program together that works is awesome however, having a team that works together from the inside out that embraces retired men like a member of the 100 Black Men to assist in a school without pay is remarkable, which is what is happening at James Martin Middle.
More programs at this level will improve the outcome of students.
