CIAA Announces Suspension of All Spring Competition

Statement from the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association:

“The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) has suspended all spring competition. The decision follows the National Collegiate Athletic Association's cancellation of all championships for the year and the CIAA board's approval to suspend spring competition due to developing concerns associated with COVID-19.”

Statement from CIAA Commissioner Jacqie McWilliams:

“Our main priority is to always act in the best interest of our student-athletes and institutions with the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 being no different. We will continue to work with our colleagues in the NCAA and our member institutions to support the athletic and academic experiences of our student-athletes as we move forward.”
