Congresswoman Adams Presents Congressional Award to North Carolina Youth Leaders

CHARLOTTE, NC — On Thursday, August 16th at 9:30am, Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12) will join Rep. Richard Hudson (NC-08) to present the Congressional Award to young North Carolinians during the Congressional Award North Carolina Statewide Ceremony & 4-H Kick-Off.

The ceremony will highlight the partnership between the Congressional Award Foundation and 4-H in the Tar Heel State through a joint service project that will assemble hundreds of hygiene products for deployed military service members. The event is sponsored by Smithfield Foods and will welcome special guest, NASCAR Driver Aric Almirola of Stewart-Haas Racing.

Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12), and Congressman Richard Hudson (NC-08) will present the awards at Charlotte Motor Speedway, 5555 Concord Parkway South, Concord, NC 28027.
