Mitchell Expands Summer Camps

STATESVILLE, NC – Mitchell Community College recently announced expansions to the popular Public Safety summer camp. Rising 8th, 9th and 10th graders are now eligible for this 4 ½ day long camp exploring careers in fire service, rescue, law enforcement and Emergency Medical Service.

Mitchell and Career Academy and Technical School (CATS) are partnering to offer the Public Safety Camp for rising 9th grade students. Students will spend 4 ½ days, June 25 – 29, 2018, learning about the many rewarding careers in public safety. Topics will include fire service, rescue, law enforcement, Emergency Medical Service, firehouse cooking and Public Safety professionalism.

Registration deadline for the camp is June 1, 2018. Cost is $50/camp which includes various activities/supplies (differs per camp) and is non-refundable. For additional information and registration, please visit mitchellcc.edu/camps.
