CHARLOTTE, NC - Yetur Gross Matos, starting DE for the Carolina Panthers, is teaming up with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina for the second year in a row to host his YGM Thanksgiving Dinner Distribution to benefit Governors Village Elementary School’s children and families.

Yetur will personally host the event set up as a drive through. He will pass out the Thanksgiving food to the children and their families, including a fun surprise. Each family will receive a turkey, donated by Yetur, a box of fresh produce, and a box of Thanksgiving dinner sides. There will also be an opportunity to take a quick photo with Yetur. All the families will be invited directly by the Elementary School.

Monday’s distribution is scheduled for 4:30-6pm EST at Governors Village Elementary, 7810 Neal Road, Charlotte, NC 28262.

Yetur Gross-Matos is in his third year as Defensive End for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He became a starter in the beginning of the 2022 season and has quickly shown his dominance among the competition. Yetur is passionate about giving back to the community and is involved in a variety of events throughout the year. He played college football at Penn State and was drafted by the Panthers in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
