H. I was born in Birmingham, Alabama. I am a mathematician, rocket scientist, and one of the first African American computer scientist to work for NASA.

J. I was born Isabella Baumfree. I escaped slavery with my infant daughter in 1826. In 1828, I took my son’s white enslavers to court and won my son back. I’m best known for being an abolitionist and women’s rights activist.
