Downtown Restaurants Give Back with the Big Feed Event, January 29 – February 3, 2018
STATESVILLE, NC - For one week only, Monday, January 29 through Saturday, February 3, restaurants and specialty food shops in Downtown Statesville will offer discounts and special menu items at amazing prices! The best part? 10% of the sales from these featured items will go to help fill the pantries at Iredell Christian Ministries (ICM) and Fifth Street Ministries!
From unique dishes to half price options, there are so many reasons to dine out during The Big Feed! Take the opportunity to sample a new restaurant, or treat the family to nice dinner out while taking advantage of the savings. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner offerings make it easy to fit into your schedule. At the end of the week, all your charitable eating will help feed someone else right here in your community! Marin Tomlin, Executive Director of DSDC said, “The Promotions Committee is excited to work with our downtown restaurants to be able to plan this new event. It is a great way to encourage people to come downtown and support our local, small businesses, all while helping others in our community.”
Liz Petree, owner of Wine Maestro and DSDC Promotions Committee Chairman, said, “As business owners, we all try to do our part in giving back to our community. This is different. This is an opportunity to give to those who do not have the means to feed themselves while we feed our families at the same time. It is a win-win! I am looking forward to having some great meals that week!”
No tickets or passes are required. Food lovers may simply dine at as many participating restaurants as they like during the week. The Big Feed specials are dine-in only and do not include tax or tip. Restaurants may run out of a featured dish and are not required to supply a replacement dish at a discount.
